World of Hotels Terms & Conditions

  1. Bookings are made subject to the terms and conditions of the Club La Costa World of Hotels programme & Ambassador Holidays Limited.
  2. Bookings must be made with Ambassador Holidays Limited t/a Club La Costa Travel (ABTA J8067, ATOL Holder 5944); we act as agents on behalf of the hotel suppliers and other travel providers.
  3. Bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the individual hotel suppliers or other travel providers; details can be supplied on request.
  4. Prices are calculated as cash only for Trial or Destinations members or using part cash and part Points for Vacation Club, Fractional Property Owners Club and Signature points members. Points can be used by Club La Costa Vacation Club and Fractional Property Owners Club members only and are calculated based on each individual cruise itinerary. Choice & Bonus Points cannot be used. Trial and Destinations weeks, and Yacht Club cabin credits, cannot be traded in as part payment, while Club La Costa 2-for-1 upgrades do not apply.
  5. For bookings made on behalf of members, their membership must be in good standing (which means not suspended or cancelled by the Club according to its internal rules), both at time of making the reservation and at time of taking the holiday.
  6. A maximum of 4 nights can be arranged in any 31 day period. Additional nights can be requested and will be calculated on a cash only basis.
  7. Full payment must be made at time of booking, regardless of departure date.
  8. Club La Costa Travel will pre-pay the hotel suppliers for all reservations; members pay locally for any extras. A credit card may be requested on arrival as a security deposit against purchases or use of facilities.
  9. Hotel prices where advertised are subject to availability and only confirmed once payment has been made.
  10. Prices where advertised are for the hotel only and based on 2 people sharing a twin/double room on a room only basis and are per night, unless otherwise stated.
  11. Prices where advertised are correct at the time of publication, and are subject to change, depending on availability, date of travel, duration and room type.
  12. Prices where advertised are in GBP currency (£ pounds sterling); payments will be taken using pounds sterling.
  13. Prices where advertised are inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated. In the event of a change in government or local taxes, the rates will be adjusted accordingly.
  14. Flights and transfers are not included in any advertised prices, unless otherwise stated.
  15. Club La Costa Travel can arrange flights and other travel options when departing from the UK. Ask your travel consultant for details.
  16. In some countries room taxes/or local taxes may apply in addition to the advertised hotel rates; any additional costs will be confirmed to you at time of booking.
  17. Club La Costa Travel & Club La Costa are not responsible for any charges or foreign exchange differences within these transactions.
  18. Payment can be made by credit card or debit card. 
  19. Once your booking is confirmed, a receipt will be issued and sent to you. A voucher will be sent approximately 2 weeks prior to departure and this must be presented to the hotel on arrival.
  20. Any problem relating to the hotel, which may arise during your holiday, must be raised immediately with the hotel or with the supplier using the emergency number provided. Any complaint should be notified to the hotel supplier in writing no later than 28 days from the end of your holiday.
  21. Each hotel supplier reserves the right to amend their terms, prices and facilities without notice.
  22. Club La Costa cannot be held responsible for any changes in travel arrangements made independently or via Club La Costa Travel.
  23. It is the responsibility of the traveller to ensure that documentation in relation to passports, visas, inoculations and travel insurance is obtained prior to travel.
  24. Having adequate travel insurance for the entire duration of travel is a condition of booking and this must be arranged prior to departure. Otherwise, you make and take these travel arrangements at your own risk and cost.
  25. Booking transactions will be serviced in English. All documentation including receipts, invoices and itineraries will be sent in English.
  26. Data Protection – Data is held in accordance with our privacy policy (see www.clublacostatravel.co.uk). In order for us to process your booking and meet your requirements to ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly, we need to use the information you provide such as name, address and special requests, etc.
  27. We will need to pass the information on to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements such as airlines, hotels, insurers, etc. The information may be provided to security checking companies, public authorities such as customs/immigration or as required by law.  We will not, however, pass information on to any person who is not involved as part of your travel arrangements or unless required by law.
  28. These terms are governed by English law and the jurisdiction of the English courts.

Cancellations and Changes to bookings

  • Cancellations must be made in writing to: Ambassador Holidays t/a Club La Costa Travel. Suite 3, 630/634 London Road, Westcliffe On Sea, Essex, SS90 9HW  England or email: worldofhotels@clublacosta.com
  • Vacation Club Points, Fractional Property Owners Club Points and Signature Points - all cancellations follow the terms and conditions as set out in the owning members Club La Costa Vacation Club constitution, which is detailed below and is subject to change.

  • In addition to the above, the cancellation policy of the hotel supplier applies. A copy of their terms and conditions is available on request.
  • Club La Costa Travel will apply a £25.00 administration fee to any cancelled booking.
  • Any monetary refund due will be processed using the original credit card.
  • Amendments to your booking are subject to the terms and conditions of the hotel supplier.
  • Amendments to any other travel arrangements, such as flights, hotels, transfers are also subject to the terms and conditions of the individual travel provider.
